I don't know where you got that definition, but it's an incredibly narrow and unhelpful one. It may be one valid definition, but it isn't close to comprehensive.

Oxford uses the definition of "A person considered to adhere unreasonably or obstinately to a particular religious belief, practice, etc."
The only other source I know for the common use of the word is on Wikipedia:
